The first round of the BTE Championship tournament is over, with some changes to the tournament roster.
On the October 19 episode of Being The Elite, the last three matches of the first round of the tournament opened with Matt Hardy defeating Luchasaurus. It followed up with Fuego Del Sol beating Sammy Guevara and lastly, Peter Avalon and Brandon Cutler were supposed to have their match, but they got themselves disqualified.
Replacing Avalon and Cutler is Matt Sydal and Colt Cabana (with Michael Nakazawa's appearance) with Cabana emerging victorious. Like with the other first round matches, the matches on the latest episode of Being The Elite were all mini-golf challenges.
Below are the second round matches, based on the bracket, with the winners facing off in a three-way match.
* Matt Jackson vs. Fuego Del Sol winner
* John Silver vs. Colt Cabana (as Michael Nakazawa)
* Trent vs. Matt Hardy
