Konosuke Takeshita is returning to DDT.
DDT announced that AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita will compete at their Korakuen Hall event on January 3.
DDT did not name Takeshita's opponent in the announcement. The match will mark Takeshita's first time competing in a DDT ring in Japan since DDT Wrestle Peter Pan 2024 in July.

Takeshita is also set to compete at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 on January 4. There, he will challenge Shingo Takagi for the NEVER Openweight Championship. If Takeshita wins that match, he will defend the title against Tomohiro Ishii at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5.
Takeshita is scheduled for NJPW Strong Style Evolved on December 15. More information is available here.
