Sasha Banks could be in the Tokyo Dome.
On December 8 it was reported by PWInsider that Sasha Banks (Mercedes Varnado) is expected to be at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4.
Fightful Select has reported, "we were also informed that the New Japan Pro Wrestling deal is a go, and was agreed upon as far back as the last week of November."
Speaking to Yahoo Sports, Bushiroad CEO Takaaki Kidani commented on the reports, saying, "There is a possibility that she will come to the Dome."
Kidani avoided making any specific mention of Banks during the interview.
Bushiroad is the parent company of New Japan Pro-Wrestling and STARDOM.
Banks has not commented on any reports that she will be at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom, but is in Japan and looking to collaborate with different brands.
