Bushiroad Owner Takaaki Kidani: I Am Very Grateful To Mercedes Mone

Mercedes Mone made her STARDOM in-ring debut at STARDOM All Star Grand Queendom, losing the IWGP Women's Championship to Mayu Iwatani.

Mone signed with NJPW at the start of the year and made an immediate impact, winning the IWGP Women's Championship from KAIRI.

Speaking to Kakutolog, Bushiroad owner Takaaki Kidani commented on Mercedes' presence in Japan.

"Yes, I am very grateful to her," he said when asked about Mone raising the profile of Stardom. "She is very easy to talk to. I hope that she will continue to be involved in whatever she does. She seems to be very fond of Japan. She stayed in Japan for quite a long period of time this time as well. I think the IWGP women's division has become more "prestigious" (due in part to Mone's involvement)."

Mone has already been announced for NJPW Resurgence on May 21. An opponent has yet to be announced.

Mone recently stated she would be moving to Japan full-time. You can find her comment by clicking here.
