YOSHI-HASHI and Callum Newman are going to the finals.
At the NJPW Soul event on July 3, YOSHI-HASHI and Callum Newman won semi-final matches in the G1 Climax 34 A Block Qualifying Tournament. Newman defeated KENTA, while YOSHI-HASHI defeated Tomohiro Ishii.
YOSHI-HASHI will face Newman in the tournament finals at the NJPW Soul event on July 5, and the winner will earn the final spot in A Block in the NJPW G1 Climax 34 tournament.
Newman previously defeated Yujiro Takahashi, while YOSHI-HASHI beat Chase Owens to advance to the semi-finals.
Due to the loss, Tomohiro Ishii will miss the NJPW G1 Climax for the first time since 2012.
The annual G1 tournament begins on July 20.
