Captain Insano Appears In The Acclaimed's New Music Video On 11/16 AEW Dynamite

Capitan Insano is All Elite...kinda?

The world, including Adam Sandler, was stunned on the November 16 edition of AEW Dynamite when Capitan Insano popped up in The Acclaimed's new 'A Hand For A Hand' music video. Insano, also known as Paul Wight, hasn't been seen in on AEW programming since March, where he competed in a AEW Dark: Elevation match.

In the video, Insano was shown on a television screen with The Acclaimed. The AEW World Tag Team Champions were actively making fun of Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland, who were depicted by actors in the video.

The origins of the Insano gimmick come from the 1998 led film 'The Waterboy', where he was Robert Boucher Jr's (Adam Sandler) favorite wrestler.

Anthony Bowens took to Twitter after the segment aired to share photo of Insano taking part in some casual scissoring.

AEW filed a trademark on the Capitan Insano name back in March 2021. Since then, Wight has teased the return of the beloved character on numerous occasions.
