Carlito is looking realistically toward his future.
Carlito has been wrestling for multiple decades and is currently on the WWE Raw roster as a member of Judgment Day.
With some of the names in wrestling that have defined the last two decades looking at their retirement year in 2025, such as John Cena and Hiroshi Tanahashi, Carlito is now talking about how many years he has left in his career.
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Carlito says he still feels like he has some gas in the tank but knows he doesn't have too many years left as an active competitor.
"I feel like I've got a few more years in me. Not many, but a few."
Furthermore, he ruled out the idea of continuing to wrestle in his 50s.
"That's probably not going to happen. No, no, probably not. Mentally, I think [I could], but my body is probably not [going to hold up.] "
Carlito has not wrestled since November 2024 and says he's been dealing with a few injuries that have kept him out of the ring.
"Yeah, I've been dealing with some injuries, so not bumping has helped. But yeah, like, I like, I said, there's still a little bit left in the tank."
Carlito's last televised match was on November 11, 2024. That night, he and Dominik Mysterio lost to The War Raiders. Later that week, he participated in a dark match during the November 15 taping of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
