Carlito comments on being part of Judgment day and working with Dominik Mysterio.
Carlito was added to Judgment Day in 2024 at the request of Dominik Mysterio after Carlito turned on the LWO. He's still with the group today, despite the many changes in the lineup, and he says they had great chemistry.
"Yeah, very random, right? Carlito fits in anywhere. The cool thing about us is that we bonded quick. We really are family and we all have great chemistry it’s something that works and people like," he told Fightful's Joel Pearl ahead of WWE WrestleMania 41.
Carlito is loyal to the young man who brought him into Judgment Day. As such, Carlito didn’t mince words when talking about the Mysterio family dynamic, perpetuating the spin that Rey Mysterio is a deadbeat dad.
"Dominik Mysterio. The true great Mysterio. Not like his bum dad. For somebody who has known Rey Mysterio for years, people don’t know behind the scenes. Dominik is right, [Rey] is a deadbeat. Dominik is the true future of the Mysterio family and the whole Mysterio family should be proud of Dominik and where he’s going," he said.
