Carmella is focused on being Champion.
Season 8 of Total Divas will be premiering this fall after Season 7 ended in January. Last season, Smackdown Women's Champion Carmella had her first regular appearance in the reality television series. In an interview with Bang Showbiz, Carmella revealed she will not be appearing in the upcoming season of Total Divas.
"I am not on this next season, no. Right now, I'm focusing on being the best champion I can be and I don't know what the future holds but as of right now I'm not filming for the next season," said Carmella
Carmella will be defending the Smackdown Women's Championship at Money in the Bank against Asuka. In the rest of the interview, Carmella spoke about Raw roster member Ronda Rousey and how she brings a different "vibe" to the matches.
