Cedric Alexander says his NXT return has been like returning to high school.

In a digital exclusive, Cedric Alexander was asked to comment on Shawn Spears watching his match against Brooks Jensen.

"Shawn Spears, me and him go back a long way. He’s had a very shady past, to say the least. But the difference between me and Shawn Spears, I’m here to help the young talent, compete with them. He’s here to use them for his own means and manipulate them to do whatever he wants them to do. As you can see, from Brooks Jensen, the angry young man that he is, Mr. Spears’ methods do not work," Alexander said.

Alexander was then asked to discuss his return to NXT, and he compared it to going back to high school. He noted that he was seeing some old friends. Alexander also stated that he was enjoying the experience, and he thought he would stay.

“It’s been an experience. It’s like going back to high school again. You see a bunch of new friends, see a bunch of old friends you haven’t seen in a long time, and it’s good to mix it up with the people every once in a while. But yeah, I’m enjoying my time here. I think I might be here for a long time," Alexander said.
