Goodbye to Shorty G, hello once again to Chad Gable!
Last year, Chad Gable, after facing constant harassment for being short, decided he would change his name to Shorty Gable and later shorten that to Shorty G. This led to a year of losses for Gable and finally, after losing to “The Freak” Lars Sullivan on the October 23 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Shorty G revealed that he quit.
Later, in a segment with Adam Pearce, Chad Gable revealed that he only quit being Shorty G and that he doesn't believe in being a happy-go-lucky caricature of himself and was ready to go back to being the natural athlete that is Chad Gable.

As Chad Gable, he was able to capture the Raw, SmackDown, and NXT Tag Team Championship alongside two different partners. Now, he is ready, willing, and Gable once again.
