Chad Gable Reveals Jason Jordan Is Working On A Possible In-Ring Return

Chad Gable says his former American Alpha partner is working on returning to the ring.

Jason Jordan was a top young prospect in WWE involved in a major storyline on Monday Night Raw where he was revealed to be the son of Kurt Angle when suddenly his career ended due to an injury. In the time since, Jason has become a WWE producer but now, his former tag team partner Chad Gable revealed on the latest episode of WWE’s The Bump that he is working on a potential comeback.

“Jason was such a big part of life [and] my journey to being successful in WWE. Who’s to say if I would’ve ever even gotten a start in NXT or the main roster if it wasn't for Jason? I just feel so fortunate that we meshed together so well. He's another one of those guys like Otis that our mentalities are just so similar and we just resonate on the same levels when it comes to everything, I think it bled through in our tag team and that's why the cohesiveness was always there.”

He continued, “Just speaking from a personal standpoint, he became one of my best friends throughout the process and still is. It's unfortunate what happened with his injury, but you never say never. He’s working on it, he's trying to get back, and who knows? A reunion is always something that I would never be against.”

Jason Jordan and Chad Gable won both the NXT and Friday Night SmackDown Tag Team Championship as a unit before being separated in the 2017 WWE Superstar Shake-Up. Jordan would go on to win the Monday Night Raw Tag Team Championship with Seth Rollins before being forced to put his in-ring career aside.

As for Gable, he would win the Raw gold with Robert Roode and currently, he is a member of the Friday Night SmackDown brand where he is paired with Otis.
