TNA's future is already in turmoil, and one match has had to be changed for Bound For Glory.
Former TNA World Champion Drew Galloway has been pulled from his Bound For Glory match Sunday. Galloway was pegged to face Aron Rex (former WWE Superstar Aron Rex) in the finals of a tournament to determine the first ever TNA Grand Champion. Galloway wasn't cleared to compete on the show.
Galloway mentioned last week that he was injured on Twitter, saying "Apologies to everyone, I hate missing shows but I took a nasty knock last week that will keep me out the ring for the next couple of weeks."
"I'm upset. Clearly. This sucks," Galloway told ImpactWrestling.com "I love nothing more than wrestling and this is a match that will make history. The fact that it was against Aron Rex made it even sweeter. I'll be watching this match closely from the Impact Zone. Aron Rex got lucky. No one can keep me from being there on Sunday."
TNA stated that a replacement for Galloway would be announced on Sunday, but it was announced Friday that Eddie Edwards would serve as Rex's replacement.
