For months, Angel Garza flirted with Charly Caruso during backstage interview segments. Though Garza proposed to his then-girlfriend on NXT television, a ladies man is going to be a ladies man. And Garza could not resist flirting with Charly. The dynamic between the two annoyed Zelina Vega, who believed Garza should have his eyes on the prize.
Then, one day, Garza stopped flirting with Charly. What happened between the two? Nothing, really. The storyline just...stopped.

Was Charly ghosted? Did she not check on Angel following his injury? Did she watch NXT and find out he was engaged to be married? Did Zelina interfere? Did the hacker interfere with their relationship? Was Garza actually a catfish?
The world will never know because the storyline just randomly stopped. That's the true heartbreak.
