The Vice President of OWE, Michael Nee was in Las Vegas during Double Or Nothing weekend and while on his way back to China, he stopped in Toronto to finalize the deal to bring OWE to "The Great White North". Nee chatted with SLAM! Sports and said the main goal for the promotion is to explore a new market.
"The main goal for us [is] to explore the new market," said Nee.
CIMA, T-Hawk and El Lindaman took on S.C.U. at Double Or Nothing and Nee explained that the majority of OWE's talents are so young and they are in the dark when it comes to how they will be received during SummerSlam weekend but the mission is to formally introduce their style of wrestling to a new audience.
"Our talents are so young. Basically, the average is about 20 years old, and they have never gone to other places. We don't know how they will be so interested in us. We will see," he said. "We also wanted to introduce the fans to that kung fu style wrestling, how that is, and introducing our new concept, ideas, of wrestling."
