Chris Jericho says that this coming Wednesday will be the beginning of major changes for the Inner Circle faction.
After an unsuccessful attempt by Chris Jericho and Maxwell Jacob Friedman to gain the AEW Tag Team Championship and an unsuccessful attempt by Santana and Ortiz to win the Casino Tag Team Royale, Chris Jericho says it is time for a change.
During a backstage interview with Alex Marvez at AEW Revolution, Chris Jericho announced that the Inner Circle will host a war council meeting on the next episode of AEW Dynamite, which will air on March 10, 2021.
Back in November, MJF and Wardlow earned the right to join the Inner Circle when Maxwell defeated Jericho in a one-on-one match. This move ultimately led to a lot of dissension including Sammy Guevara, one of the founding members of the faction quitting the group following irreconcilable differences with Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
Jericho attempted to move on from Sammy Guevara but now that he and Maxwell have failed to capture gold, both have agreed that some changes are definitely necessary within the group.
