Corazon De Leon has returned to Arena Mexico.
Chris Jericho made his CMLL return on the 6/28 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular under the alias of "Corazon De Leon" and made the biggest impact possible on his return.
Jericho attacked Místico after he waved at the fans, appearing in the ring with a disguised Místico mask before revealing himself to the shock of the fans in Arena Mexico. Jericho then cut a promo in Spanish saying he was the greatest of all time and claiming Místico had the heart of mice before challenging Místico to a match at any time & any place. Místico stood up and accepted the challenge, with the condition of their match taking place in Arena Mexico.
This was Jericho's first appearance in CMLL in nearly thirty years, where he unsuccessfully challenged for the CMLL World Heavyweight Title Apolo Dantes on the September 19, 1995 show taking place in Arena Coliseo in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. In today's age, Jericho is the ninth FTW Champion, a title he won on the 5/26 edition of AEW Dynasty against HOOK.
