Chris Jericho and CM Punk clashed at WrestleMania 28 in a storyline that got personal with Jericho commenting on Punk's family history and tempting his straight edge life with alcohol.
Punk would go on to defeat Jericho in the co-main event of WrestleMania 28 to retain the WWE Championship.
When a fan on social media noted that he was watching Jericho vs. Punk from WrestleMania 28 and that he would love to see them run it back, Jericho replied that he always loved working with Punk.
I always loved working with @CMPunk …. https://t.co/AHorYZMOuM

Jericho and Punk were part of the AEW roster, but never worked together during Punk's time with the company. Punk is still with AEW, but was suspended for his part in an altercation with The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) at AEW All Out. Punk also suffered triceps injury at All Out that would have kept him sidelined.
Fightful Select reported that Jericho approached Punk after the brawl and told Punk that he was a detriment to the company.
It is unknown if Punk will return to AEW.
