A new United States Champion has been crowned.
Bobby Lashley's reign as United States Champion has come to end on the October 10 episode of Monday Night Raw. Seth Rollins, who is coming off a loss against Matt Riddle at WWE Extreme Rules, was able to knock off Lashley, but the win came with plenty of controversy.
Moments before the match, Lashley was stunned by the return of Brock Lesnar, who came to the ring and dropped Lashley with two F5s. The former WWE Champion also locked Lashley's arm in the Kimura Lock. Rollins came to the ring and manipulated Lashley into competing by calling him a disgrace to the title and his country. Lashley tried to fight, but the damage was too much to overcome. Despite being banged up after the Fight Pit Match at WWE Extreme Rules, Rollins scored the win. With the victory, Rollins became the second two-time Grand Slam Champion in WWE history.

Rollins previously unsuccessfully challenged Lashley for the title on the September 19 edition of WWE Raw.
Lashley's reign as United States Champion lasted a total of 100 days. During the reign, Lashley defended the title successfully on five separate occasions. Meanwhile, the win marks the first time that Rollins has held a singles championship since 2019, a year that saw him hold the Universal Championship on two different occasions.
