CM Punk will be the special guest referee when Ethan Page defends his NXT Championship against Trick Williams on the October 1st episode of NXT in Chicago.
Punk made the announcement on the Spetember 17th episode of NXT after Williams and Page signed the contract for the match.
Punk said the match needed something special as it determines the future in NXT. He also said that what he says goes, and he was fine if they started fighting to close the show.
