To the surprise of many fans, Jey Uso won the 2025 men's Royal Rumble.
Jey last won by eliminating John Cena.
CM Punk, who eliminated Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, but was eliminated by Logan Paul, gave his thoughts on Jey winning.
"I think Jey winning is fantastic. When you have somebody in there like John Cena that everyone is going to immediately assume, "LOL Cena is going to win.' Earlier in the night, Charlotte [Flair] wins the women's Royal Rumble. When there are 30 people in the Rumble, male or female, that is 30 fanbases, at least 29 fanbases, that are going to converge and hate whoever wins the Rumble," Punk told Daniel Cormier & Chael Sonnen on Good Guy/Bad Guy.
Punk's new road to WrestleMania will include a stop at WWE Elimination Chamber where he will compete inside the Elimination Chamber to earn a potential World Title match.
