Ahead of WWE Survivor Series, CM Punk was revealed as the fifth man for Team OG Bloodline, teaming with Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, & Sami Zayn against Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, & Bronson Reed.
Paul Heyman introduced Punk as the fifth man, and it was later disclosed that Heyman owed a favor to Punk.
Speaking to Jackie Redmond in a WWE exclusive, Punk was asked if he could give any insight into the favor.
"No," he said.
Asked if he could give a time when more might be known, Punk said, "No. I never know when I’m actually going to need to cash it in. We’re friends, me and Paul. Between the two of us, we probably owe each other a lot of favors."
Asked if it is a juicy favor, Punk replied, "I don’t know. I think everyone is maybe building it up a little bit too much. You never know. I might have to one day say, ‘Hey Paul, can you pick me up on your way to Raw?’ That might wind up being the favor. That’s going to be super disappointing for everybody. You never know. The sneaking suspicion is everyone thinks it’s somehow connected to somebody else that Paul is close with. We’ll find out."
Punk and Roman Reigns are both set to compete in the men's Royal Rumble on Saturday.
