CM Punk comments on the WWE Live Event tour that wrapped up his 2024.
For the first time in over 10 years, CM Punk wrestled on four consecutive days, competing on a WWE Live Event loop that would see him face Ludwig Kaiser twice, including once in the home base of WWE, Madison Square Garden. Punk would go on to team up with Rey Mysterio to defeat The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods), and wrap it all up by challenging Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship inside of a steel cage in his hometown of Chicago at the Allstate Arena.
CM Punk then took to Instagram to reflect on the stretch of events and thank the audience for allowing him to compete.
New York, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Chicago. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket to see us. Chicago. What can I say? I love you with all my heart. Been over ten years since I was able to wrestle in what I will always call the Rosemont Horizon. It is my privilege. Two million dollar houses, on our way to a third in Houston. Proud of everyone on the crew who worked hard and made it all possible, except little Dominik Mysterio who is the greasy twat.
