R-Truth Competes In First Singles Match On WWE SmackDown Since 2019

R-Truth is back on Team Blue.

After accidentally angering Carmelo Hayes by not understanding his "I'm Him" catchphrase, R-Truth competed in his first singles match on SmackDown since 2019 and lost to the former NXT Champion. R-Truth did his best to channel the energy and move set of his "childhood hero," John Cena, but it was no use.

Carmelo Hayes got the victory with Nothing But Net, his signature Top Rope Leg Drop across the neck.

Fightful Select reported that R-Truth would be on SmackDown moving forward. WWE recently closed the transfer window.
