CM Punk says something nice about Drew McIntyre.
Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have been at odds ever since the WWE Royal Rumble Match, where Punk eliminated McIntyre from the match, but not before McIntyre had injured the tricep of the former WWE Champion. Since then, tensions have only escalated between both men leading up to Mcintyre defeating CM Punk at WWE SummerSlam, but not without distractions to both men caused by special guest referee Seth Rollins.
As their war of words and physicality continues to rage on, CM Punk was asked to break tradition and say something kind about McIntyre during an appearance on the Masked Men podcast. Punk was kind enough to acquiesce, calling Drew McIntyre the fourth-best wrestler ever to wear a kilt. McIntyre's in great company, only behind legends like Roddy Piper and The Highlanders duo of Rory and Robbie McAllister.
"One nice thing about Drew McIntyre. He’s the fourth-best wrestler to ever wear a kilt. Roddy Piper. The Highlanders. Drew McIntyre. Number four with a bullet."
