CM Punk and Seth Rollins continue to go at each other.
The December 16 edition of WWE Raw opened with fireworks, as CM Punk hit the ring to run his mouth against Seth Rollins. Punk first recalled telling Rollins that he doesn't think about him but then changed his tune, saying that he's mad that he's thought about Rollins in the past week.
Punk went on to say that he feels like anything he does will be overshadowed by Rollins if he doesn't take care of that problem first. Punk kept on and said that Rollins doesn't get to put on a pair of boots and try to act like CM Punk, even if he grew up idolizing him.
Then, Punk said he's willing to give Rollins a wrestling lesson before noting that he still wouldn't be able to fill his shoes. Punk reminded Rollins of Drew McIntyre, the last guy who tried to fill his shoes.
Rollins came out shortly after and appeared in the crowd with fans. Rollins tried to see if he could see Punk in the same way that the fans do, setting up a joke where he called Punk an asshole. Punk fired back by saying that Rollins belongs in the audience with the rest of the CM Punk fans.

Rollins took that comment on the chin, saying that he's proud to be a fan. Then, Rollins reminded Punk that he put WWE on his back when he left the company back in 2014. Rollins then issued one final sting, saying that this fan has more WrestleMania main events than he ever will.
Punk and Rollins proceeded to brawl throughout the crowd before they were eventually separated by officials.
