CM Punk is a man walking on his own in WWE at the moment as he prepares to step inside Hell in a Cell with Drew McIntyre at WWE Bad Blood.
Punk is no stranger to having people watch his back, whether he's had Paul Heyman advocating for him or the Straight Edge Society (Luke Gallows, Joey Mercury, & Serena Deeb) surrounding him.
Speaking to Justin Walker of KTSM, Punk was asked who he could see in a potential Straight Edge Society revival.
“I don’t want to beat a dead horse, so it would have to be some sort of a variation on the Straight Edge Society. Maybe something a little bit similar, maybe named different,” Punk said. “I think the number one with a bullet to be with me in some form of a stable would be Oba [Femi.]”
Femi is the reigning NXT North American Champion. He is set to defend the title against Tony D'Angelo on the October 8th episode of NXT.
