When making the announcement, the competition field of tag teams was also announced. Zeuxis is set to compete to regain her titles by teaming with Persephone, while La Catalina will team with Princesa Sugehit, Lluvia is teaming with Tessa Blanchard, and current CMLL Womens National Tag Team Champions Andrómeda & Skadi are set to compete in the tourney. The teams of Dark Silueta & Valkiria, Hera & Olimpica, Saney & Nautica, and Reina Isis & Metalica will also participate in the tourney.

The titles are currently vacant after one-half of the former champions, Stephanie Vaquer, departed CMLL & NJPW on July 10, 2024. She was later announced that she signed with WWE on the same day.
