Cody Rhodes Adidons Former UFC Fighter Turned Wrestler Phil Baroni

As far as crossover stars go, don't expect to see UFC veteran Phil Baroni in New Japan Pro Wrestling any time soon.

Baroni, best known for a string of fights in the UFC and PRIDE between 2002 and 2006 took to Twitter this week to criticize the National Wrestling Alliance for working Cody Rhodes into a championship angle on their Youtube show, as well as the lead-up for the All-In Show.

It didn't take Cody Rhodes long to respond, as he channeled his inner Pusha T to bite back at "The New York Bad Ass."

George Caroll (who was quick to point out his last name has two ls) works with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Baroni apparently wasn't happy with the response.

Baroni has appeared in pro wrestling matches sporadically, including a match against Mike Modest, which you can see below.

Rhodes is currently slated to face Nick Aldis for the NWA Worlds Championship, assuming Cody can win the ROH World Championship at June's Best in the World show.
