Cody Rhodes Calls Being The Elite A "Gamechanger"; Credits Show For Flip Gordon's Popularity

Cody Rhodes says Being the Elite is more than a YouTube show.

With what started as seconds long clips on the now defunct social media platform Vine, the Young Bucks have created Being the Elite which is their YouTube show that started as a vlog and turned into a storytelling device. The show really began to gain popularity when Cody Rhodes joined the show and the Bullet Club storylines were shown on the episodes.

In an interview with Steven Muehlhausen of Sporting News, Rhodes explained how Being the Elite is the bridge between NJPW and Ring of Honor and the trust that must be involved with those stories weaving back and forth. Rhodes spoke highly of the show and said it has been a proven commodity.

"'Being the Elite' is a gamechanger. There’s plenty of skeptics who want to look at it as a simple YouTube show. It is far more than a simple YouTube show. If you need proof in the pudding, look at Flip Gordon. Flip Gordon is popular everywhere he goes. His price has been raised. The 'Book Flip' chants happen at the most random of independent events. His entire persona, character, the individual Flip Gordon has been presented on 'Being the Elite," said Rhodes.

Rhodes and the Young Bucks started another YouTube series called All Us which will follow the three wrestlers on their way to All In on September 1st.
