Cody Rhodes is the top banana in WWE, and he also has respect for one of the OG top bananas in the video game world, Donkey Kong.

In a recent video on GQ's YouTube channel, Cody Rhodes discussed ten essentials that he carries with him on a daily basis. One of those essentials was a Nintendo Switch. In the past, Cody has talked about his fondness for franchises such as The Legend of Zelda, and when talking about the Nintendo Switch, he admitted he doesn't have time for video games that take up a lot of time, such as Elden Ring.

Still, Cody Rhodes enjoys jumping on his Nintendo Switch and playing Donkey Kong using the Super Nintendo library in the Nintendo Switch Online SNES app.

"There it is—just a Nintendo Switch. I don't have enough time and commitment to jump into a modern big-time console game like Elden Ring. However, I can get on the SNES collection on my Switch, and I can play Donkey Kong all day long. It is absolutely essential for me. "

Three Donkey Kong Country games were released on the Super Nintendo between 1994 and 1996, and all are currently available to play on the Nintendo Switch. However, as mentioned above, an online subscription is necessary to play the back catalog of games from the Nintendo Entertainment System, the Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, and more.
