Cody Rhodes reflects on his final AEW promo.
On January 19, 2022, AEW executive vice president Cody Rhodes cut what would be his final AEW promo. On AEW Dynamite, he mentioned CM Punk, took a shot at the WWE Performance Center, and set up his final AEW match, in which he lost to Sammy Guevara the following week.
Rhodes responded to a social media post about the promo on its two-year anniversary and stated that he would always feel privileged that he got to say goodbye with these words and the match that followed. He stated that it was a fun, wild crowd, and it was a fond memory.
