Cody Rhodes States That He's "Transitioning To A New Role In Pro Wrestling" Following NWA Title Loss

Cody Rhodes continues to tease fans about his next move in professional wrestling.

Following his loss to Nick Aldis at NWA 70th Anniversary Show, Cody took to Instagram to thank the fans and hope they continue to support the product.

The lines that stick out are "As I begin a transition to a new role in pro-wrestling" and "As I continue my remaining dates with the good folks at ROH."

Cody's contract with ROH is set to expire at the end of the year. He and other members of the Bullet Club Elite have teased going to WWE while also discussing the possibility of holding All In 2. Last week, it was reported that Cody, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, and Marty Scurll were on-board with a yet-to-be-announced promotion headed by Jim Ross and Chris Jericho

The contract situation of Cody, the Bucks, Omega, Page, and Scurll has not only been turned into a storyline on Being The Elite, but has been a major topic on social media. The Elite recently announced their final Bullet-club style t-shirts and Tama Tonga has repeatedly hinted at the group jumping to WWE.

Cody is currently slated to appear at the ROH Global Wars tour from Nov. 7 to 11.
