First AEW on TNT match is official.
All Elite Wrestling announced that Cody Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara is the first official match for their debut on TNT on Oct. 2.

Cody is currently 1-0-1 in singles competition in AEW, having defeated Dustin Rhodes at Double or Nothing before going to a draw with Darby Allin at Fyter Fest. He and Dustin lost to The Young Bucks in tag team competition at Fight For The Falllen. While not official, Cody is expected to face Shawn Spears at AEW All Out.
Guevara is 0-1 in singles competition, losing to Kip Sabian at Double or Nothing. He teamed with Spears and MJF to defeat Darby Allin, Jimmy Havoc, and Joey Janela at Fight For The Fallen.
AEW premieres on TNT on Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. ET.
