Colby Corino has entered free agency.
On December 5, 2022, Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam reported that Corino's contract with the National Wrestling Alliance was set to expire at the end of the year. The report noted that Corino wasn't expected to re-sign with the company, and WWE has expressed interest in Corino. Haynes also wrote that Corino was expected to head to the WWE Performance Center once he is a free agent.
In a tweet on January 2, Corino confirmed that he is now a free agent.

Corino made his NWA debut during the tapings for The Circle Squared in 2019. He was later brought in for a set of NWA tapings in June 2021, and he had been with the company ever since. He recently challenged Davey Richards for the MLW National Openweight Championship at NWA Hard Times 3.
Colby is the son of Steve Corino, who currently works as a producer and trainer for NXT. He remains active on the independent scene. In recent months, he has competed for Deadlock Pro-Wrestling, Black Label Pro, Catalyst Wrestling, and GCW, among other promotions.
