The card is subject to change, and some noteworthy names popped up at GCW No Compadre.
Andrade El Idolo was pulled from the GCW No Compadre event in Chicago on January 12, and Maki Itoh missed the show due to injury. The day of the show, other stars, including Jonathan Gresham, were unable to make it due to travel issues and inclement weather. Brett Lauderdale then noted that he booked some surprise replacements.
These replacements turned out to be buzzworthy picks. Hometown fan-favorite Colt Cabana took Matt Cardona's place in a tag team match, as he joined forces with Steph DeGoldman (Steph de Lander) and Boom Boom Jimmy Lloyd. The trio lost to Effy, Allie Katch, and 1 Called Manders.

Plus, Lio Rush was set to face Jonathan Gresham. Due to Gresham's absence, he was replaced by the returning Nick Wayne. Wayne then scored the victory. This marked Wayne's first match in GCW since GCW Fight Club Night Two on October 8.
