Cora Jade returned to WWE NXT on April 4, 2023, dropping Indi Hartwell after the new NXT Women's Champion retained her title against Zoey Stark. Later, Jade revealed she'd be on TV on April 11, 2023, to explain what's next for her. Lyra Valkyria later confronted her. Before Jade went on hiatus, she was feuding with Valkyria.
Cora Jade has not appeared on WWE television since being eliminated multiple times in the NXT Women's Battle Royal on January 10, 2023. Her last match to date took place ten days later at an NXT live event in Fort Pierce, Florida, as she challenged Roxanne Perez for the WWE NXT Women's Championship on Friday, January 20.

It was reported she'd suffered an undisclosed injury.
