Announcer Corey Graves and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes said Fatu was injured. Rhodes blamed Solo for Fatu's injury.

Fatu suffered the apparent injury in the main event of WWE SummerSlam when he interfered in the Bloodline rules bout between Cody and Solo. Fatu hit a dive off the turnbuckle through the announce table, hurting his ankle/leg in the process. Fatu couldn't put weight on his leg as he tried to stand after splashing Rhodes through the announce table.

He was seen in a walking boot after the match.

Fatu is one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions alongside Tama Tonga. Tonga Loa was holding the title on Friday's WWE SmackDown.

It is unknown how long Fatu will be sidelined. Fightful wishes him the best in his recovery.
