Crowbar talks working with Luke Disangro and his appearance on the 'Monster Factory' TV show.
'Monster Factory', which is currently streaming on Apple TV+, has been a hit among hardcore fans in the wrestling community. The series, which follows the wrestling school of the same name, featured some big names from the independent scene like Gabby Ortiz, The Notorious Mimi, and Brett Waters.
In a new interview with Nick Hausman, Crowbar talked about getting to appear on the show, working with Luke Disangro (Twitch), and how he has developed a close relationship with him.
“I have heard it. I thought that the concept was great, I loved working with Luke Disangro, he reminds me of a young Devin Storm, a young Chris Ford. We connected backstage a lot just talking about our backstory and getting involved with wrestling and stuff like that. We were talking about how I work and how in these later years, I'm doing these wine promos, the timeless promos. It’s really cool. Luke has Tourette’s, I grew up an awkward child with severe speech impediment. I couldn’t get one sentence out, it was really tough. So, we come from similar places, we both are powered by pro wrestling so we connected huge not just on a professional level, but on a personal level. He’s one of my favorite workers out there, not just in the ring, but outside of the ring and backstage. I love seeing him at shows, I would love to work with him a whole lot more and it was really cool to work with him on that show.”
Despite being active in wrestling for over 31 years, Crowbar is still active on the independent scene, as he works with promotions like ICW No Holds Barred, WrestlePro, and BEYOND Wrestling.
In a previous interview from earlier this year, Monster Factory owner Danny Cage discussed the school's Apple TV+ series. Fans can learn more here.
