On the May 6 edition of WWE Raw, Dakota Kai announced that she will replace Asuka in the Queen Of The Ring tournament due to injury. As a result, Kai will now face Lyra Valkyria in a first round bout.

This announcement came just moments after IYO SKY defeated Natalya in a seperate first round matchup.
