Dakota Kai returned to TV at WWE SummerSlam to celebrate with IYO SKY after she won the WWE Women's Championship following her Money in the Bank cash in.
Kai has been sidelined with a torn ACL since May.
Speaking at the WWE SummerSlam press conference, Kai was asked if she was ready to return.
"I came because this is such a big moment for [IYO] and us as a group. I'm still a ways away from being in-ring cleared. I had to be here for her tonight. This is such a crazy accomplishment for her, representing Damage CTRL. 2024 is about to be crazy. We're getting there. I'm squatting heavy," she said.
Kai hasn't wrestled since the May 12 episode of WWE SmackDown when she teamed with Bayley in a loss to Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez.
