Damian Priest: I'm Waiting For The Perfect Time To Cash In Money In The Bank, There's No Rush

Damian Priest is waiting for the right time to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase.

Priest won the Men's Money in the Bank briefcase at WWE Money in the Bank 2023. He has come close to cashing the contract in a few times, but these efforts have not panned out. However, Priest scored another big win at WWE Payback. There, he and Finn Balor beat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.

Speaking on WWE's The Bump, Priest was asked about his strategy regarding the Money in the Bank briefcase following the title win.

“It’s just keeping an eye out. The focus right now is keeping these [tag team titles]. But I’m always conscious, always watching the champions that are left, whatever champions are left at this point. We’re always watching, and I’m always keeping an eye to see, ‘Is today a good day? Is this a good opportunity?’ I have a whole year, so I don’t have any rush to just cash in that contract when it’s not perfect. It has to be perfect. It has to be perfect. I’ve seen a few moments that I thought, ‘Maybe, but it’s not perfect yet.’ Right now, my focus is making sure we’re all on the same page and all champions. But when the time comes and that perfect time comes, it’ll get cashed in, and it’ll happen," Priest said.

During the interview, Priest's tag team partner Finn Balor named two of his goals. Check out his comments here.
