Damian Priest doesn't plan on only wrestling in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on WrestleMania SmackDown.
Since SummerSlam, Damian Priest has been involved in the WWE United States Championship picture. Recently, his position in the title picture changed when he was defeated by Finn Balor on Monday Night Raw back on Monday, February, 28, 2022. However, along with that change came a shift in his moral alignment as he began to embrace his inner Damian more.
Currently, the WWE United States Championship will not be defended at WrestleMania, and both he and Finn Balor are slated for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on WrestleMania SmackDown on Friday, April 1.
Speaking with Denton Day, Damian says he's looking forward to the Battle Royal but he is also planning on being inside AT&T Stadium for WrestleMania 38 Saturday and Sunday and has no intention of just staying in the back and not appearing on the card.
“Well, I'm definitely the Battle Royal, that's happening. Anything else? It's up in the air,” he said. “But the only thing I'll say is, I'm going to be in the building, come Saturday and Sunday at WrestleMania, and I don't plan on just staying in the back. So I'll say that. To anybody watching, anybody that might be a fan of mine, I'll be there and I don't plan on not showing up on the stage. I'll give you that.”
WrestleMania SmackDown will also feature the Intercontinental Championship on the line. You can check out the full card as it stands right now for WrestleMania SmackDown at this link.
