Daniel Bryan will take on the seven foot tall Big Cass in a singles match.
In what will be one of his first matches in years, Daniel Bryan will be wrestling Big Cass who also recently returned from injury. Last week, Bryan's backstage interview was interrupted by Big Cass and then later in the night Big Cass attacked Bryan during a match. On this week's Smackdown, Bryan was advertised as the Miz's guest on Miz TV but Big Cass came out to the ring instead.
Later in the night, Bryan revealed Big Cass attacked him at the beginning of the show and said Smackdown General Manager Paige gave him a match against Big Cass at WWE Backlash.
Before Backlash, Bryan will be competing in the Greatest Royal Rumble match on Friday April 27th. WWE Backlash will be May 6th.
Fightful Wrestling has live coverage and a recapping podcast each week for Smackdown and the same will be provided for both WWE Backlash and the Greatest Royal Rumble event.
