Daniel Bryan has a dream match in mind but maybe not the one you may think.
Speaking to Yahoo Sports, Bryan revealed that he would like to take on 205 Live superstar Gran Metalik in a special match.
“I want to wrestle the best guys on the planet," said Bryan. "Some of those best guys are on ‘205 Live.’ We have Gran Metalik here and he’s one of the best luchadors in the world and he’s on that show. Man, would I love to wrestle that guy in a mask vs. hair match. That’s sometimes where my passion gets ahead of me.”
Bryan has made no secret of his 205 Live fandom in recent months. He put over Mustafa Ali following Ali's main roster debut on SmackDown Live, where he took on Bryan in singles competition. Ali may have lost in the one-on-one contest, but he did score a victory in tag team action over Bryan.
Bryan also offered praise for Hideo Itami, formerly known as KENTA, calling him one of the most dangerous competitors he's ever stepped in the ring with.
