Daniel Garcia is cleaning out his closet.
The June 8 episode of Collision saw Daniel Garcia pick up even more momentum by defeating Tate Mayfairs. He's on a roll and he feels like he's finally righting some of the wrongs from his recent past.
In a digital exclusive, Daniel Garcia opens up about how refreshing the past few months have been for him and reaffirmed his desire to go after the AEW International Championship.
"Man, to say that it's been a great past couple of months for me in AEW would be an understatement. I'm so grateful for the things I've been doing lately. I feel like I'm checking so many things off my bucket list. I feel like I'm doing so many things that I wanted to do and I still have more that I want to do. I still have more that I want to accomplish but for so long, I felt like I had too many skeletons in my closet. I felt like I had so many wrongs that needed to be right before I did those things.
"Lately, I kind of feel like I'm starting to do that. I feel like I'm getting the trust from my peers back. I feel like I'm getting trust for myself back. Most importantly, I'm getting the trust from the people back. I feel it, they feel it, everybody feels it. Now the only thing that's left for me to do is clear out those skeletons from my closet and make a little bit of room for the International Title."
