Darby Allin Doesn't Know Sting's Intentions In AEW, Ready To Have Craziest Cinematic Match Ever

Sting made his shocking AEW debut at Winter is Coming, but if there's one thing for sure about Sting, it's that nothing is for sure.

Sting seemingly has his eyes set on AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin, though it's unknown if he is looking to mentor the man who has drawn comparisons for him or if he has other plans.

Speaking to Sportskeeda, Darby Allin addressed Sting's arrival in AEW.

"I was a Sting fan, but I never watched WCW or any real wrestling back in the day. When I go back and watch it, when I was older, Sting was one of the guys that captivated me as a performer. He had a lot of interesting traits in himself that I gravitated towards," said Darby

Darby went on to say that he is unsure if Sting will wrestle or if he's cleared, but he's ready to get in the ring with him or do a cinematic match. He also said if they do a cinematic match, it'll be the craziest cinematic match of all-time.

When asked if Sting could possibly be his manager, Darby replied, "I don't know what his intentions are. I don't know if he wants to manage me. I don't know if I'm manageable. Everything is week-by-week, anything can change. I've never had a full-blown conversation with him."

Sting is set to appear once again on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite.

Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
