Dark Side of the Ring has touched on many topics in wrestling history. From Owen Hart to Chris Benoit to New Jack, Dark Side of the Ring explores the not so glamourous side of wrestling and the wrestlers.
But what is one topic that the creators would like to explore that they haven't had a chance to yet?
"We would do a Freebirds episode anytime it could happen," Evan Husney said on Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette. "I don't know if we could get the approval to do such a thing, but I would love to do a Freebirds episode because there is so much there with Terry Gordy and Michael (Hayes) and the stories. We have to petition for this somehow."
Michael Hayes currently works for WWE, which would likely take him off the table for an interview.
Season three of Dark Side of the Ring will premiere on Thursday, May 6 with an episode focused on Brian Pillman. You can find more information about season three by clicking here.
