Fandango is grateful.
Fandango, known as JDC in TNA, appeared on the February 4th episode of WWE NXT. This marked his first appearance on NXT since 2021. He confronted NXT Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King and revealed that he would challenge for the gold on the February 11th episode of WWE NXT.
In an NXT digital exclusive, Fandango commented on his return.
“Ear to ear, genuinely heartfelt, but I just broke my Ferragamos, so it’s a bittersweet day for me. That’s just me trying to be funny, I’m sorry. NXT means the world to me, to have me back tonight. Just goosebumps, man. I can’t get over it. I’m grateful, that’s exactly what I am," Fandango said.
When asked about facing an "unpredictable" competitor like King, Fandango said that he had been unpredictable as well, so you couldn't predict what would happen when they faced each other.
Nathan Frazer has expressed his interest in facing Fandango and Tyler Breeze. Click here to see what he had to say.
