Dave Bautista will be in a new movie with Channing Tatum.
Dave Bautista, formerly known as Batista in WWE, continues to build his impressive resume in Hollywood, and he has landed a new project.
Scott Roxborough of The Hollywood Reporter reports that Bautista, Channing Tatum, Steven Yeun, Zoë Kravitz, Léa Seydoux, and Riley Keough have all been cast in "Alpha Gang". They join Cate Blanchett in the cast. The movie is described as an alien invasion comedy from the Zellner Brothers, and it centers around a "group of alien invaders who disguise themselves as a 1950s leather-clad biker gang on their mission to conquer Earth." However, their plot for domination is derailed by "humanity’s most contagious condition: Emotions."
Roxborough writes that the project is being shopped to international buyers at the American Film Market in Las Vegas, with mk2 Films handling the international sales and CAA Media Finance dealing with North American distribution rights.
Dave Bautista has had prominent roles as Drax in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Glossu Rabban in the "Dune" series. He has recently been in "The Killer's Game" and "My Spy: The Eternal City".
Bautista recently recalled getting advice from Triple H. Check out his comments here.
